To prove that the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. government on Cuba represents a halt, the civil society in Cuba spoke out today, in its 19th Forum and as a single voice, at the University of Havana.

Weightlifting and rowing stand out among the sports that concluded with the presence of Cuba, after the eight days of the 19th Pan American Games of Santiago de Chile 2023, a multidisciplinary event that will close on November 5.

The memory of Grenadian leader Maurice Bishop and the 24 Cuban internationalist fighters who fell in that Caribbean nation 40 years ago deserved a tribute held at the headquarters of the Caribbean Association of Cuba and attended by members of the Caribbean and African diplomatic corps accredited to Cuba, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a group of Cuban aid workers who were in Grenada when the U.S. invasion took place on October 25, 1983.

Ana María Mari Machado, vice president of the National Assembly of People's Power, met in Luanda, Angola, with Duarte Pacheco, president of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the context of the 147th IPU Assembly.

 Cuba and Spain ratified their interest in strengthening relations in the area of legislative modernization, training and computerization and in expanding the exchange of experience.

The signing of major agreements between Cuba and China marked the end of the 30th Session of the Intergovernmental Commission for economic, commercial, financial, cooperation and scientific-technical relations, held in Beijing.
