 Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, and Olaf Scholz, Federal Chancellor of Germany, confirmed today the willingness to deepen the political dialogue between the two nations.

Today Esteban Lazo, president of the National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament), described as decisive the relations between Cuba and Belarus, in a meeting he held with Sergey Aléinik, foreign minister of that European country, who is in Havana on a working visit.

Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Cuban communist party's central committee and president of the country, met today in Brussels, Belgium, with St. Vincent and the Grenadines PM Ralph Gonsalves, who holds the pro tempore presidency of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States ("CELAC").

In what he described as “a family reunion”, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel met with Cubans living in Belgium, representatives of political and Cuba solidarity organizations, and the Cuban delegation to the Summit of the Peoples.

During an official visit to Portugal, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel thanked workers and members of Cuba solidarity movements in that country at a massive event held at Lisbon’s Society of Instruction and Charity "Voice of the Worker".

Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of Portugal, received today Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, at the National Palace of Belem, in Lisbon.

Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, First Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party Central Committee and Cuban President is paying a state visit to Portugal till July 16 at the invitation of Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel traveled early this morning to the Republic of Portugal to pay a state visit to that country at the invitation of President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

The European Parliament has no moral, political or legal authority to judge Cuba, according to the International Relations Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power (NAPP) in reference to the recent resolution adopted by the European Parliament based on the declarations of the Council and the European Commission and the status of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union (EU) and Cuba, following the visit to Havana in May by the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.
