US Hostility against Cuba is the Empire’s Incapacity to Accept a Sovereign Neighbor

Havana, December 26 (ACN) Three years under a US democratic administration, which follows on the steps of its Republican predecessor as to Cuba is concerned, confirms the fact that US hostility against Cuba is not the goal of a single political party; it is the essence of a policy based on the hegemonic intention of an empire which is incapable to accept the sovereignty of its small neighbor.

The statement was made by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, during the most recent session of the Cuban Parliament held in December.

He added that over thirty years in a raw most of the governments of the world have backed with their vote the Cuba resolution demanding the end of the US blockade, at the UN General Assembly.

The Imperial power disguise the global support of Cuba, turns a deaf ear to the world claim and keep on with its criminal policy, which it justifies with a deceiving, slanderous and double-standard discourse which, backed by a fake concern and commitment with the Cuban people’s difficulties, hides its real goals aimed at toppling the Cuban Revolution at any cost.
