Cuba’s first deputy foreign minister Marcelino Medina affirmed his country’s commitment to the Eurasian Economic Union and its political willingness of the Cuban government to consolidate economic, commercial and cooperation links with all member states of that organization.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said that the joining by the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) of China’s Belt and Road Initiative will open new opportunities for cooperation and mutual benefits.
