” In statements to the Russian news agency TASS, the diplomat noted that the increased pressure and escalating aggressive rhetoric from Washington, especially against Cuba, are undermining security and stability in the region.

He emphasized that the United States' maximum pressure strategy against Cuba, with its recent unilateral restrictions, pursues a single objective: to economically strangle it.

The facade of the European Commission building in Brussels was illuminated with the message "Hands Off Cuba" in solidarity with the island, a fact highlighted by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla on social media.
