Upon receiving a delegation from the Bureau of the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of that Palestinian People, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel reiterated the feelings of brotherhood between Cubans and Palestinians.

Cuba’s Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassador Ernesto Soberón Guzmán, presented the Cuba-UNICEF Country Programme 2026-2030 during the 1st Ordinary Session of the organization's Executive Board, highlighting that it constitutes a strategic cooperation framework to strengthen the well-being of children and adolescents.

Cuba denounced the consequences of the tightened economic blockade imposed by the United States during the 1rst Plenary Meeting of 2026 of the Group of 77 and China, UNESCO Chapter, held at the Organization's headquarters on Monday, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' website, Cubaminrex.

The Ministry of the Interior of the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua announced that Cuban citizens holding ordinary passports can obtain the required visa free of charge by applying online, the Granma newspaper reported.



Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov denounced today the neocolonial stances of the United States, reflected in its current actions toward Cuba and Venezuela.

"Our focus remains on combating any neocolonial practice, from unilateral coercive measures to military interventions," the Russian Foreign Minister stated.

According to Prensa Latina, in his video message commemorating Russian Diplomats' Day, Lavrov also reaffirmed his country's solidarity with the people of Venezuela and Cuba.

The minister also emphasized that Moscow is convinced that only the Caribbean nations can choose their own destiny.

He further stressed that Russia is committed to continuing the practice of honest international cooperation on equal terms, in accordance with the principles of mutual understanding, trust, and good neighborliness.

For his part, the Russian ambassador to Havana, Viktor Koronelli, stated that Moscow is observing “with great concern the situation in the Latin American and Caribbean region.

” In statements to the Russian news agency TASS, the diplomat noted that the increased pressure and escalating aggressive rhetoric from Washington, especially against Cuba, are undermining security and stability in the region.

He emphasized that the United States' maximum pressure strategy against Cuba, with its recent unilateral restrictions, pursues a single objective: to economically strangle it.

Young Moroccans interested in the situation in Cuba reaffirmed their solidarity with the Cuban people and condemned the aggressive U.S. policy against Cuba, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Minrex by its Spanish acronym) reported.

The Cuban delegation to the Plenary Session of the Conference on Disarmament denounced the effects of the Executive Order, issued on January 29 by US President Donald Trump, declaring a supposed national emergency and authorizing the imposition of trade tariffs on countries that provide oil to Cuba.

Various organizations and political parties in Brazil expressed their support for Cuba following the recent Executive Order by US President Donald Trump, which defined the Caribbean nation as a threat to US national security and announced possible tariffs on countries that supply fuel to the island, reported the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cubaminrex.

Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and Minister of Foreign Affairs, began his official visit to Vietnam today as a special envoy of the Cuban government.
