HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 11 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban foreign minister, congratulated Sering Modou Njie on his recent appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Gambians Abroad of the Republic of Gambia.
In a message on X, Cuban head of diplomacy expressed his willingness to continue strengthening the historic friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries.
The official website of the Cuban foreign ministry highlights that the two nations have maintained diplomatic relations for 46 years, dating back to May 19, 1979, and emphasizes the successful cooperation in health, which dates back to 1996.
