HAVANA, Cuba, August 24 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez praised the legacy of Yasser Arafat on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the Palestinian leader's birth.
Mr. Rodriguez remarked that Arafat's tireless fight for the inalienable rights of the Palestinians remains more relevant than ever and commended his unswerving friendship with Cuba and Fidel.
Arafat, the first president of the Palestinian National Authority and Nobel Peace Prize winner, died at the age of 74.
