The Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion Center (ProCuba) and Vietnam´s Trade Promotion Center (VITRADE) signed on Wednesday in Havana a new bilateral cooperation agreement to foment exchanges between institutions.

The Foreign Trade Promotion Agencies of Cuba and Chile signed on Tuesday an agreement to foster institutional cooperation and the development of economic relations between both Latin American nations.

With the aim of increasing the presence of tourists in the Caribbean, the Brazilian airline Gol will start regular flights between the cities of Sao Paolo and Havana, from next December first.

The first direct flight Beijing-Havana, scheduled for next December 27 by Air China airline, will be a catalyst for the promotion of tourism in Latin American and Caribbean region, Prensa Latina said today in Beijing.

The Cuban Rum Company presented on Tuesday in Havana the new CubayCarta Blanca Extra Añejo Rum which will allow the diversification of the products and broaden the capacity of Cuba´s exports for 2016.

The 33rd International Trade Fair, FIHAV 2015 was inaugurated in the Canadian Pabellion on Tuesday in Havana with the presence of Cuba´s Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero. Canada is the fourth country with the most important commercial exchange on the Caribbean island and first in the number of tourists to the archipelago.

The growing interests of Dutch business executives in increasing commercial exchange and participating in investment projects with Cuba was expressed on Tuesday during the inauguration of the Netherlands Pabellion at the 33rd Havana International Trade Fair, FIHAV 2015.

Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment minister, Rodrigo Malmierca, announced 36 new project offers on the island investment portfolio, which in all includes 320 projects for a total amount of 8 billion dollars.

Cuba´s First Deputy minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Antonio Carricarte, said that more than 12 Mexican investment projects are being considered by Cuban authorities with hopefully positive results.
