Barbados´ Bank Breweries Limited will soon begin exporting nearly one million boxes of beer to Cuba, where the local demand has surpassed production capacity following the increase of tourism and private businesses.

The growing interest in introducing their technologies in the Cuban market is the main motivation of a dozen U.S. companies participating in the 11th International Construction Fair -FECONS 2016.

The current season of tourist cruises in this eastern city is considered the best of the last decade with 21 berths to date, of the 24 planned throughout this month.

The need to strengthen partnerships between Cuba and Chile in the construction sector was highlighted on Tuesday during the inauguration of the pavilion of the South American nation in the 11th International Construction Fair, FECONS 2016, on the grounds of Havana's PABEXPO exhibition site.

Cuba's Foreign Trade and Investment Minister, Rodrigo Malmierca officially inaugurated the 11th International Construction Fair on Tuesday in Havana underway in Pabexpo Exhibition Halls until April 9th.

Local organizations under the Cuban National Small Farmers Association (ANAP), which groups private land owners, in the western province of Artemisa, are mostly led by young people and especially women.

This year, Cuba's International Tourism Fair (FITCUBA 2016), to run May 3 to 7 in this city capital, will be dedicated to Havana as a tourist destination and to culture as a valuable attraction for those who visit Cuba.

Ten US companies are taking part, for the first time, at Havana´s 11th International Construction Fair, expressing the interest of US business sector to invest on the island, said Abraham Vargas, representative of the Miami-based Tradewinds Corporation.

Entrepreneurs from Cuba and Belgium will meet on Tuesday in this capital to find new business opportunities, on the occasion of the visit to the island of Geert Bourgeois, Minister-President of the Government of Flanders.
