Heberferon, the only Cuban drug of its kind in the world for the treatment of basal cell carcinoma of the skin, is already available throughout the national territory, barely six months after beginning of the program for its extension.

The Carlos J. Finlay School of Medicine has graduated 579 professionals among them doctors, dentists, nurses and health technicians in an activity dedicated to the leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro and the 37th anniversary of the institution celebrated last June 4th.
