The Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Equatorial Guinea, Juan Ndong Nguema, praised on Wednesday in Malabo the level of development of health in Cuba and called for expanding cooperation with the Caribbean nation in this sector, Prensa Latina reported.

The Cuban Health Ministry reiterated on Tuesday that no case with clinical symptoms compatible to the Zika virus has been detected on the island, while specialists follow all fever syndromes to early detect cases of Zika, Chikungunya or Dengue.

The absence so far of a single Zika virus case in Cuba cannot lead to lack of worry, particularly after the heavy rains that affected the island in recent weeks, which favor the spread of the mosquito that carries the disease.

The presentation "Cuba-Russia Business Opportunities in biotech sphere" is one of the issues that today focuses attention on the Cereals-Fodder-Veterinary International Fair, which takes place in Moscow, reports Prensa Latina.
