HAVANA, Cuba, January 12 (ACN) Nicolás Maduro Guerra, a member of the Venezuelan National Assembly, conveyed a message of strength on behalf of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the First Lady, Cilia Flores, after speaking with the president's legal team, Venezolana de Televisión reported.
The parliamentarian stated that the lawyers reported the president's good spirits, who asked his supporters not to be saddened and assured them that "we are well, we are fighters."
During a meeting with members of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Maduro Guerra denounced the use of disproportionate force against the president, as they were unable to defeat him by other means.
He noted that, despite the circumstances he faces in the United States, Nicolás Maduro remains morally sound and strong, and emphasized that his leadership has not been broken.
The deputy urged party members to preserve internal unity and reaffirmed his confidence in key figures such as acting president Delcy Rodríguez, National Assembly president Jorge Rodríguez, and Minister of the Interior, Justice, and Peace Diosdado Cabello.
Finally, Maduro Guerra indicated that the path to overcoming current challenges lies in following the president's instructions, maintaining political cohesion, and guaranteeing institutional stability in the face of external pressures.
