HAVANA, Cuba, January 9 (ACN) The Communist Party of Paraguay reaffirmed its solidarity with Cuba during a meeting held in Asunción with representatives of the Communist Youth, in the context of international condemnation of the United States' military aggression against Venezuela, according to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cubaminrex.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the regional situation and reiterated their support for the Cuban Revolution, as well as their condolences to the Party, Government, and people of the island for the 32 internationalists who died defending the Bolivarian cause.
The participants emphasized that solidarity among peoples is an essential element for confronting external threats and preserving sovereignty in Latin America and the Caribbean.
