HAVANA, Cuba, January 9 (ACN) Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of the Republic, extended his sincere congratulations to Comrade Thongloun Sisoulith on his re-election as Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP), during the celebration of its 12th Congress.
In a message on X on Thursday, the Cuban president expressed the island's pride in "continuing to count on his close friendship and leadership."
