
Havana, Jan 8 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez conveyed heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Venezuela for the military personnel and civilians killed during the U.S. military aggression and the seizure of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife.
On his X account, the Cuban foreign minister expressed his solidarity with the relatives and friends of the victims.
The attack by the United States government against numerous civilian facilities and infrastructures is yet another demonstration of its disregard for International Law and International Humanitarian Law, Rodríguez Parrilla condemned.
According to information provided by Venezuelan authorities, 100 people—both military personnel and civilians—died in the U.S. attacks.
The U.S. air strike hit military bases, ports, and airports, as well as telecommunications infrastructure and other civilian targets in Caracas and the neighboring states of Miranda, La Guaira, and Aragua.
