Chile Condemns US Military Aggression Against Venezuela



HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 3 (ACN) Gabriel Boric, President of Chile, today condemned the United States' military aggression against Venezuela and called for seeking a peaceful way out of the crisis.

Through a message on the social network X, the head of state emphasized that the grave situation must be resolved through dialogue and the support of multilateralism, and not through violence or foreign interference.

Boric also reaffirmed his country's adherence to basic principles of International Law, such as the proscription of the use of force, non-intervention, the peaceful settlement of international disputes, and the territorial integrity of States.

In the early hours of this morning, the Government of Venezuela published a statement reporting on a US military aggression in locations in Caracas, the capital, and the states of Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira.

The whereabouts of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, are unknown, denounced Delcy Rodríguez, Vice President of Venezuela, who confirmed that the airstrikes left several dead, both military and civilian.
