
HAVANA, Cuba, November 6 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban Foreign Minister, lamented today the severe damage caused by Typhoon Kalmaegi in the Philippines.
In a message on X, Cuban diplomat sent his condolences to the government and people of the Asian nation.
He also expressed his solidarity with the families and loved ones of the victims, whose death toll has reached at least 114, while some 127 people remain missing.
The typhoon, which crossed the central part of the country between Tuesday and Wednesday, affected nearly two million people in more than 360 communities, prompting the Philippines to declare a state of national calamity.
