HAVANA, Cuba, October 22 (ACN) Cuba commemorated 65 years of diplomatic relations with India, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, China, Vietnam, and Mongolia with the inauguration of a photographic exhibition capturing key moments marking these ties of friendship and cooperation.
The ceremony, hosted by the José Martí National Library in Havana, was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla and the Minister of Culture Alpidio Alonso, as well as by leaders of political and mass organizations, representatives of Cuban institutions and organizations, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and members of the Asian diplomatic corps accredited in Havana.
The photographs evoke visits by high-level delegations, bilateral meetings, document signings, and other significant events resulting from the links between Cuba and the said countries, including occasions bearing testimony to the influence of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, on the ties with Asian countries.
