HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 22 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez congratulated Sanae Takaichi on her election as the new Prime Minister of Japan.
In his message, the Cuban leader reiterated Cuba's willingness to keep strengthening bilateral relations with the Asian country.
Elected by the Japanese Parliament on Tuesday, the 64-year-old leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) became the first woman in the country’s history to serve as Prime Minister.
