HAVANA, Cuba, August 15 (ACN) Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla criticized today the systematic actions carried out by the State of Israel against the Palestinian population and warned that this genocide must end.
Cuban diplomat highlighted on X that Israeli attacks have left 98.5 % of the Gaza Strip's farmland damaged and/or inaccessible.
He also said that military actions have destroyed irrigation systems, equipment, warehouses, and markets, and warned that this increases the catastrophic food security situation for Palestinians.
According to data from United Nations agencies, 70 % of Gaza's infrastructure has been destroyed, and there is a displacement crisis, as the "safe zones" now cover less than 12 % of the Strip.
