Havana, July 30 (ACN) Cuban government authorities expressed their solidarity with China following the loss of human lives and property damage caused by recent floods in the capital Beijing.
President Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party Central Committee regretted the damage caused by intensive rains in several districts in the northern districts of the Asian nation.
Diaz-Canel conveyed his condolences and support to the Chinese Communist Party, Government and the people in a message on X.
Other officials regretting the damage caused by the natural phenomena in China included Parliament President Esteban Lazo who conveyed his condolences for the loss of at least 30 lives in the event.
Torrential rains damaged thoroughfares, the electric grid and communication networks, according to local reports.
