HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 4 (ACN) In a post on X, Political Bureau member Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs, denounced the new veto by the United States (US) in the UN Security Council on a draft resolution demanding "immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire" in the Gaza Strip.
In his message, Mr. Rodriguez pointed out that the said veto hinders the achievement of peace and the protection of Palestinian civilians and proves that the United States acts in complicity with Israel’s genocidal war against s against the Palestinian people.
Cuba has demanded in many international forums the immediate end of the attacks, the unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid, and a peaceful and just solution that guarantees the rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to self-determination and to an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
