Havana, May 7 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party Central Committee and President of Cuba held official talks Wednesday with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
The two presidents addressed current bilateral cooperation relations between their nations.
Putin appreciated the presence of the Cuban leader at celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, while the Cuban leader recalled and stressed the sacrifice of the Soviet people against Fascism.
Diaz-Canel also passed greetings from Cuban former president and Revolution leader Raul Castro and recalled that May 8th marks the 65th anniversary of the reestablishment of democratic relations between Russia and Cuba.
