Havana, May 7 (ACN) The United Nations Organizations (UN) denounced that at least 30 Palestinians were killed under Israeli air raids against a school in the locality of Al-Bureij, which hosted two thousand citizens in central Gaza.
The school, managed by the UN was severely damaged by the bombs, which also caused a fire that made it difficult to evacuate the victims, including women and children. Rescue and search ops are underway after many people are missing.
The UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) says that according to satellite images analyzed by the United Nations, more than 400 out of 564 schools in the Gaza Strip have been hit by the Israeli bombardments since the beginning of the conflict on October 7, 2023.
