HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 28 (ACN) Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdes Mesa arrived on Sunday in Vietnam to attend the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of South Vietnam.
During his stay, Valdes Mesa will hold meetings with the highest authorities of the country, visit Ho Chi Minh City and will have exchanges with local authorities, reported CubaMinrex.
The visit is framed in the context of the 65th anniversary of the special relations of brotherhood and solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba, forged by Fidel and Ho Chi Minh since the difficult years of the struggle for the liberation, reunification and reconstruction of Vietnam.
