Havana, April 24 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez reiterated his government willingness to keep strengthening and expanding relations with Cubans living abroad.
The Cuban government official made his statement on X in the context of the 31st anniversary of the first meeting between the Cuban government and Cubans abroad known as “The Nation and its Emigration,” held April 1994.
On that occasion, 200 delegates gathered in Havana in a meeting promoted in 1978 by the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro. The meeting offered the opportunity towards the normalization of relations between Cubans residing abroad and their country of origin.
