HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 3 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban foreign minister, denounced today that, with full support of the US, Israel continues bombing in Gaza and blocking the entry of humanitarian aid.
The foreign minister warned on X about the death of civilians in these military incursions, which according to local health authorities, have cost the lives of 116 Palestinians during the cease-fire agreed last January.
Israel continues bombing in Gaza, killing Palestinian population, and denies the entry of humanitarian aid in Ramadan, wrote Rodriguez Parrilla in reference to the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, a sacred period for Muslims.
He also pointed out that this situation endangers the cease-fire in the Strip, which was supposed to put the attacks on hold, so that both parties would release prisoners, in a first phase of six weeks.
The head of Cuban diplomacy stressed in his message that the Israeli attacks have the full backing of the US government, from which they will receive four billion dollars in new weapons.
According to data from the Gazan Ministry of Health, more than 48,300 people have died in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, when Tel Aviv's offensive began, following attacks by the Palestinian militia Hamas in Israeli territory.
