HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 11 (ACN) Cuba congratulates today the people and government of Iran on the 46th anniversary of the triumph of the Islamic Revolution, which led to the establishment of bilateral ties.
Cuban foreign ministry, on X, ratified the will to continue deepening friendship and solidarity ties between the two nations, which it described as historic.
Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban foreign minister, on the same social network reiterated Cuba's firm will to continue strengthening the historic ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation with Iran.
Havana and Tehran have maintained diplomatic ties since August 8, 1979, and political links are at the highest level, with much agreement in the international sphere.
This was stated by Cuban PM Manuel Marrero last July, during a visit to that Middle Eastern country, which coincided with the 45th anniversary of bilateral relations.
