Havana, Feb 10 (ACN) The Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda strongly condemned the blacklisting by Washington of Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism, according to Antigua Newsroom newspaper.
The decision was taken by US President Donald Trump just hours after he assumed his presidential term on January 20th.
In a recent meeting with Cuban ambassador Sergio Martinez, the president of Antigua-Barbuda senate, Alincia Williams, expresses her rejection of the US blockade against Cuba.
The two Caribbean nations share bilateral cooperation in areas like construction, water resources, electricity and healthcare.
Cuban healthcare workers are stationed in two hospitals on the two islands making up the archipelago.
