Havana, Feb 6 (ACN) Cuban ambassador to Panama Victor Cairo rejected the “lies” launched by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua destabilize the region.
“The US Secretary of State lies left and right,” wrote the ambassador on X.
Ambassador Cairo also wondered if the US people are aware of the challenge posed on the already questioned US moral reputation by the former senator for the state of Florida heading US international policy.
During his visit to Costa Rica this week, Secretary Rubio said that Nicaragua, Venezuela and Cuba are enemies of humanity and have created a migration crisis, said the ambassador and referred to the rejection of such statements by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, who described the action by saying that the shamelessness keeps getting hold of US cynical politicians.
It’s been proved that the migration exodus from Cuba is directly linked to the strengthening of the US blockade, which deprives the Cuban people from basic goods, he said as cited by PL news agency.
