Havana, Feb 6 (ACN) The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) condemned on Thursday recent statements by US President Donald Trump about a forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
A communique by the Latin America and Caribbean regional integration alliance described the announced intention to control the Palestinian territory by the United States as “absolutely unacceptable and inhumane and a violation of International Law,” PL news agency reported from the Venezuelan capital Caracas.
The bloc considered it inadmissible that the US government describes as valid the ethnic cleansing process carried out by Israel against the Palestinian people in their own historic land after more than 15 months of cruel and permanent genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The ALBA-TCP communique stressed that the Gaza Strip is part of the Palestinian State, along the West Bank and East Jerusalem---territories under Israeli occupation since 1967.
The LATAM Alliance joined the unanimous rejection by the international community of such irresponsible, fascist and supremacy-oriented US intentions.
The group of Latin American and Caribbean nations reiterated their full solidarity with the Palestinian people in their heroic resistance against the illegal Israeli occupation and genocide.
