Havana, Jan 24 (ACN) Peru’s former Foreign Minister Hector Bejar said that Cuba will survive while current US President Donald Trump will fade into oblivion.
In statements to PL news agency, the Peruvian scholar, journalist and social activist said that Trump’s anti-Cuba measures are nothing new, and Cuba will overcome such hostility under tough conditions.
Trump will fade into oblivion as has been the case of many US administrations, Bejar said in relation to 13 US presidents who, one way or the other, have unsuccessfully tried to topple the Cuban Revolution.
Bejar said that in the face of Trump’s aggressiveness no significant action can be expected from current Latin American governments except for progressive administrations like Venezuela and perhaps Mexico.
