Havana, Jan 23 (ACN) Colombian Foreign Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo told reporters in the capital Bogota that the relisting of Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism was a wrong and unfair US decision.
The top Colombian government official noted that the US designation has a negative impact on the Cuban people as it hinders access to necessary products to meet basic needs.
“We urge the US government to reconsider this kind of decisions; we will keep calling for the removal of Cuba from that list,” Murillo stressed.
Colombia does not agree with the implementation of unilateral and extraterritorial policies like this decision adopted by the US President (Donald Trump) in relation to Cuba, the Colombian official added.
