Havana, Jan 13 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez condemned the terrorist attack perpetrated against the Venezuelan General Consulate in Lisbon, Portugal.
On his X account, the Cuban government official reiterated the island’s commitment to the struggle against terrorism and the call on the international community to act firmly against anyone who encourages and finance terrorist actions. https://tinyurl.com/bdzx37d8
On January 11, the Venezuelan General Consulate in Lisbon was the target of incendiary bombs.
On his Telegram account, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil described the event as a “fascist attack” and an action against the services offered to Venezuelan nationals in the European nation.
Gil appreciated the fast action by Portuguese authorities, who avoided worse damage to the facility. He also expressed his hope that the probe into the event allows identifying those responsible for the attack.
Other Venezuelan diplomatic missions in European nations reportedly were targets of aggressions.
