The 79 year-old Brazilian President is admitted to a hospital in Sao Paulo after an emergency surgery to drain a subdural hematoma related to a fall at his home last October 19.
According to the medical report, the surgery was carried out without incident and Lula is doing well, under observation at the ICU.
Lula returned to power after winning the elections last October 2022 with 50.84 % of the votes to Jair Bolsonaro's 49.16%.
