HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 19 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel reasserted his solidarity with the people of Nicaragua for the damages caused by the tropical storm Sara and offered Cuba's support for the recovery efforts.
In another post, Political Bureau member Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs, sent a message of solidarity to the Nicaraguan people and government and echoed Díaz-Canel’s offer of assistance in the intense days of recovery and care of the victims.
Nicaragua reported that tropical storm Sara left two dead, 5,000 people affected, and 1,800 homes flooded.
