Havana, Nov 19 (ACN) The Japanese government announced and aid shipment to Cuba through Japan’s International Cooperation Agency to help recovery actions after the ravaging passage of Hurricane Rafael on the western section of the island.
The shipment includes tents, mattresses, blankets, water purificators among other items, according to the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
As a humanitarian gesture and based on the close links between Japan and Cuba, the Asian nation has decided to provide Cuba emergency assistance to support the citizens affected by the natural disaster, reads the article published by the Foreign Ministry.
