Havana, Nov 14 (ACN) The World Peace Council Executive Committee condemned the US economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba and the blacklisting of the island as state sponsor of terrorism.
The World Peace Council held a meeting in Nepal’s capital Katmandu, attended by the president of the Cuban Friendship Institute, Fernando Gonzalez.
Participants at the gathering expressed their solidarity with Cuba after the recent impact of natural phenomena, according to the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
Gonzalez said that the final declaration of the meeting encompassed some of the most pressing global issues and the rejection of the continuation of the war in Europe fueled by the United States and NATO, both interested in extending the conflict.
