Cuba rejects foreign interference against Venezuela and Nicaragua

Havana, Sept 26 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez ratified at the United Nations his country’s rejection of foreign interference campaigns and pressures against Venezuela and Nicaragua.

Addressing the 24th Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas-Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), the Cuban government official reiterated the island’s firm support of the government led by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his people.

It is up to Venezuelans to deal with their own affairs without any external interference, Rodriguez wrote on his X account.

The meeting is taking place in New York in the context of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly. Rodriguez added that along Venezuela, Nicaragua is also a target for the unfair and unilateral measures imposed by ferocious interfering campaigns launched by the US administration.lc
