Havana, Sept 26 (ACN) The Cuban and Dominican Republic delegations at the 13th Round of Migration talks between their countries affirmed in the capital Santo Domingo their willingness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation to secure the flow of regular travelers.
The round of talks was headed by Opinio Diaz, Dominican deputy foreign minister for Consular and Migration Affairs and by Elio Rodriguez, Cuban deputy foreign minister, PL news reported.
The two delegations addressed the current migration flow between their countries and relevant illegal actions; they also considered the implementation of the current MOU on migration and other consular issues.
The Cuban officials met with members of the Cuban community in the Dominican Republic as part of actions to reinforce relations between the nation and its immigration.lc
