HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 24 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban foreign minister, held today in New York City a meeting with To Lam, president of Vietnam, Cuban foreign ministry reported.
The exchange took place within the framework of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which is taking place in the US city, headquarters of the international organization.
Cuban foreign ministry noted that To Lam, who is also general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, will travel to Havana for an official visit on September 25 and 26.
Rodriguez Parrilla arrived on Friday in New York at the head of the delegation that will attend the high-level segment of the UNGA.
Cuba is also represented by deputy foreign ministers Anayansi Rodriguez Camejo and Carlos Fernandez de Cossio; the general director of consular affairs and Cubans living abroad, Ana Teresita Gonzalez Fraga; and the general director of press, communication and image, Juan Antonio Fernandez Palacios.
