Havana, Sept 12 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez rejected on Thursday recently announced unilateral US sanctions against Venezuelan public officials.
On his X account, Rodriguez demanded the cease of such actions only aimed at destabilizing the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution.
On Thursday, the US administration announced sanctions against 16 Venezuelan officials with the Nicolas Maduro government, including Caryslia Rodriguez, president of the Supreme Court; Rosalba Gil, director of the National Electoral Council, and Pedro Infante, vice-president of the National Assembly.
The sanctions block all properties and assets of the Venezuelan official on US territory; they will not be allowed to do any financial transactions.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil said that they are in the face of a new US aggression and another evidence of Washington’s contempt for international law and the self-determination of the nations.
