HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 4 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla decried Israel’s new military operations in the West Bank.
The official denounced that these acts aggravate the situation in the Middle East and expand the genocide against the Palestinian people, a situation which can only be solved with the recognition of the State of Palestine with pre-1967 borders and its capital in East Jerusalem.
Local media reports have it that at least 33 Palestinians have been killed—19 of them in the city of Jenin—and another 140 injured in the northern West Bank since Israel launched the attack last week, the largest in recent decades.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, more than 40,860 Palestinians have died and 94,398 injured since October 7, 2023.
