Havana, Aug 29 (ACN) Cuban President and first secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party, Miguel Diaz-Canel, reiterated his support of the Venezuelan people and their president Nicolas Maduro.
We will always defend, without any ambiguity what the honorable, peaceful and beloved people of Venezuela defends and backs with their vote who, punished with unfair, unilateral and coercive measures, has achieved with hard work and commitment the economic and social improvement of their country, Diaz-Canel wrote on X.
The Cuban head of state shared excerpt of his speech at the recent 11th Special Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance of the Peoples of Our Americas-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP).
