Cuba ratifies its solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution

HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 16 (ACN) Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), ratified his country's solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution, in view of the intentions to ignore the official result of the presidential elections held in Venezuela last July 28.

In a message on X, Morales Ojeda reiterated his unwavering support to the head of state of the South American nation, Nicolas Maduro.

Likewise, the party leader referred to the US meddling, affirming that the attempts to disregard the will of the people are promoted by the government of that North American country.

Cuban foreign ministry recently denounced that international actors and sectors of the domestic opposition are irresponsibly stimulating the return to the stage of the use of violence and destabilization to promote a coup against the powers of the State to overthrow the legitimate government of the South American nation.

“The Venezuelan people decided to maintain their majority support for the option founded by Commander Hugo Chavez Frias and which has been sustained in the face of threats and external aggression, under the leadership of President Nicolas Maduro Moros, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and its allied parties,” the statement read.
