HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 13 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla warned today that the bombings by the United States and its allies against cities in Yemen are favoring the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
From X, the Cuban minister insisted that the only way to de-escalate the conflict is the end of the Israeli genocide in Gaza and the creation of a State of Palestine with its pre-1967 borders.
"We warn that bombings by the U.S. and its allies against cities in Yemen are conducive to the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East. We insist that the only ways to achieve this are an end to Israeli genocide in #Gaza and the creation of a State of #Palestine with pre-1967 borders."
Last Friday, the U.S.-U.K. coalition launched a series of airstrikes on the Ras Issa area, a Yemeni port city on the Red Sea controlled by Houthi rebels.
Since January this year, the U.S. and U.K. have carried out recurrent bombing raids against targets in the Arab nation, in retaliation for the Yemeni Armed Forces' operations in regional waters against vessels associated with the Israeli regime and against Zionist targets in the occupied territories.
