HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 30 (ACN) In a post on X, Political Bureau member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla condemned the Israeli attack against a southern suburb of Beirut, capital of Lebanon.
The Cuban official described the events as an escalation of the conflict in the Middle East to dangerous levels and with serious consequences for the region.
According to Lebanese media, Israel claimed responsibility for a rocket attack Tuesday against an area in southern Beirut where the Shura Council of the militant group Hezbollah is located.
As a result of the aggression, at least one person was killed and several were seriously injured and taken to nearby hospitals.
