
HAVANA, Cuba, January 29 (ACN) Cuba already knows who its volleyball team will play and where in the qualifying phase of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League (VNL), a men's and women's tournament to be held in 17 cities across 12 countries.
In the first three weeks of the qualifiers (June 10 to July 19), the Cuban men's team―ranked among the world’s top 18, as are the women’s team―will play in China, France, and Japan.
The men's final round will be held in Ningbo from July 29 to August 2, whereas the women’s will be in Macau on July 22-26.
The men's teams will once again be the first to see action (June 10-14) with the Cubans competing in Linyi, China, alongside Japan, the reigning champion Poland, Slovenia, Ukraine, and the host country.
In the second week of the qualifiers, which will take place in Europe (June 24-28), the Cubans will play in Orléans, France, together with the host team, Iran, Japan, Serbia, and the United States, whereas the fourth week (July 15-19) will take them to Kandai, Japan, where they will be opposite the Argentinians, Belgians, Canadians, Italians and Japanese.
