
HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 4 (ACN) Cuba continued winning medals today in the morning session of the second day of the VI Youth Parapan American Games Chile 2025, winning one gold and three silvers in the multi-sport event that will conclude this Sunday.
The Facebook profile of the digital edition of the publication JIT highlights that Jean Carlos Acevedo and Yeikol Amador de Roncele achieved a one-two finish in the T46 class long jump (under-20 category).
Meanwhile, the other two silver medals were won by Lisvania Álvarez, in shot put (F46/under-20), and Tairemy Navarro and her guide Marcos Antonio in the 200 meters (T11-under17), it adds.
This Monday, Cuban para-athletes won one gold medal, two silvers, and one bronze, a total haul (2-5-1) that could continue to increase this afternoon-evening.
