HAVANA, Cuba, July 2 (ACN) After its 1-0 victory over Venezuela, the Cuban women's softball team boasts a perfect record so far at the Pan American Championship, under way in Monteria, Colombia.
With six straight wins, the Cubans lead the tournament as they get closer to the end with the satisfaction of having achieved their main goals: securing a place in both the World Cup and the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.
Next on Team Cuba’s schedule is a double-header, first with Puerto Rico and then with Canada, two of the strongest rivals in the fight for the medals.
