HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 5 (ACN) The men's teams of Cuba and Argentina that will participate in the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) have today the first of three friendly games to be held in Buenos Aires.
June 11 to 14 will mark Team Cuba’s first VNL week in Rio de Janeiro, where they will be opposite Slovenia, Brazil, Ukraine, and U.S.A., whereas Argentina will play in Quebec, Canada, against France, Italy, Bulgaria, and the host team.
These games in Argentina will be useful for the Cubans to prepare for the VNL, a tournament in which the island expects to improve the ninth place achieve in 2024, and to fight for a place in the 2028 Olympic Games.
